Our thoughts: This sprawling facility is located two miles east of City of Palms Park (home field for Red Sox spring training games) and features five practice fields where Red Sox minor leaguers work out throughout the year. For the first few weeks of Spring Training, it's the home base for the big leaguers to do their workouts.

During major league workouts, fans can't park here, but the Red Sox let you park at City of Palms Park and offer a shuttle bus to get here. (Once the major leaguers depart and things quiet down here, there's enough parking to handle the dedicated fans who show up here to see the multitude of minor leaguers and occasional major leaguers.)

Tip: Do your research before heading here so that you can recognize the obscure prospects and have some chance of getting an autograph.
