Nothing better than a fully loaded hot dog!

Mets at Tradition Field

More Florida Spring Training Stadiums

Location: Port St. Lucie

Our thoughts: The Mets home stadium offered somewhat less of an intimate atmosphere than some other Florida stadiums, as there was lots of foul territory and the seating areas were elevated and fenced off from the field, so there were fewer opportunities to mingle with the players.

Still, I had a great time watching the Mets play the Red Sox from the general-admission stands on the first base side. I got a good view of the visiting team's pitchers warming up in the on-field bullpen.

The hot dogs at Tradition Field were fairly average, but they did offer the full selection of condiments (including relish and onions) on the hot dogs, which I took full advantage of.

Parking was just $5 — not as good as free, but still not bad.
