Atlanta Braves at Champion StadiumMore Florida Spring Training Stadiums Location: Disney's Wide World of Sports Our thoughts: This modern, comfortable stadium on the Disney property (previously known as Cracker Jack Stadium) is a great place to soak in some sun and watch a baseball game. Free parking is rare at Spring Training stadiums, but, thankfully Cracker Jack Stadium has it. (Not much else is free at Disney!) If you want to park up close, you can pay for "premium" parking. On my first visit here, the upper deck had a great view of the field, and one of us even got a foul ball. They sold the typical baseball stadium refreshments (including Cracker Jacks, of course), and of course you can buy all sorts of Braves-related stuff too. The second time, I opted for the cheap seats — actually not even seats. The lawn area runs along the third base line and through left field, and offers comfortable views of the game, especially if you've got kids who want to run around. Since the stadium is run by Disney, all of the stadium personnel have the Disney attitude, which means they're always trying to be helpful, enforce order and brighten up your day, but sometimes all of that happiness seems a bit out of place for a baseball stadium. I was leaning on the bullpen fence from the 3rd base lawn area, really not blocking anybody's view, when an usher made me move. Tip: Go here on a weekend day when the theme parks are crowded, and save weekdays for visiting Orlando's many theme parks.
