Our thoughts: Wok N Roll is a small Chinese restaurant located in the heart of Porter Square.

It's kind of a mystery to me how Wok N Roll stays in business, because there's never much of a crowd there, nor does their take-out business appear all that robust. Sometimes when I go in to pick up take-out, all of the tables are empty.

The people who aren't eating here must not know what they're missing, because the food is excellent. Probably the best Chinese restaurant in Cambridge, and one of the best in the whole Boston area. The hot & sour soup is excellent (this is one of the benchmarks of any Chinese restaurant) and everything I've tried here was prepared well and tasted great.

Tip: Try the Szechuan wontons.
