Boca GrandeLocation: 1728 Mass Ave, Cambridge Our thoughts: Boca Grande offers counter-service Mexican food at its Mass Ave location between Harvard and Porter squares. I've heard many people rave and rave about Anna's Taqueria (a similar concept in Mexican food, right in the middle of Porter Square), but for some reason Boca isn't as well known. Boca's quesadillas are possibly the single greatest food in the whole world. The menu also includes burritos, tacos, enchiladas and tamales and Mexican plates. You can fill any of those with a choice of meats that incluedes lemon chicken, Colorado or ranchero chicken, grilled steak or chorizo — or you can even go vegetarian. They also have soup specials sometimes. House specials include Tacos Al Pastor (grilled pork in a chile sauce with cilantro, onion and avacado) and Tacos Boca Grande (with chorizo and a tomato-onion-cilantro mix). Tip: A major secret is that you can also order taquitos, even if they don't appear on the menu. Try them, they're really good.
