Location: next to the Wal-Mart on John Young Parkway

Our thoughts: We never planned to go grocery shopping here, but the complete lack of convenience at the enormous Wal-Mart next door brought us to this convenience store. The selection was very limited, and of course the prices were high.

The fun part was that when the cashier was ringing up our stuff, even she was appalled at the price that Hess was charging for a box of cereal, and she appealed to us not to buy it. "That's too much. You should go to Wal-Mart," she said.

Tip: If there are no lines at Wal-Mart, you should indeed go to Wal-Mart.
