Mythos (Orlando)Location: Lost Continent, Universal Islands of Adventure Our thoughts: This restaurant served by far the best meal we had at Universal. The cave-like room has windows that face across the water, and you can even watch the Hulk coaster get shot out of the tube if you've got the right angle. Everything we tried had an unexpected twist in the recipe that made it stand out. The corn chowder and lobster bisque was two actually soups in one bowl, visibly split down the middle. The burgers had yellow tomatoes. The fries were thin-cut. The hot wings looked nothing like Buffalo wings or any other wings we've seen, and they were coated with pork rinds. The chocolate shake had chopped ice in it, giving it a neat nexture. All a bit weird, and all of it tasted great. Eating here was probably the best decision we made all day. Considering the high cost and long waits for mediocre fast food throughout the park, this sit-down meal wasn't even all that expensive. Tip: Bring your AAA card for a discount. (Don't leave it in the locker.)
