Old Town (Orlando)Location: 5770 West Highway 192, Kissimmee Our thoughts: This might be Orlando's most underrated attraction — a shining light in the vast wasteland of strip malls called Kissimmee. Old Town has neat shops with stuff that you won't find at every other tourist trap. There are some restaurants too. Just browsing the shops is worth more than the price of admission (free). Some of our favorites were the one that sells various English packaged foods (including crisps and candy bars) and Magic Max, a cool magic shop. Old Town also has carnival games, some semi-lame looking rides that are probably great for kids, and a huge bungee slingshot thing that rises hundreds of feet into the sky. (We were too weak to try the slingshot.) The only downside was that it was tough to find parking. Tip: This is a great alternative to the lame, overhyped Downtown Disney.
