L' Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante (Orlando)Location: World Showcase, EPCOT Center Our thoughts: This restaurant is located in the Italy area of Epcot, which is also located in the right place when lunchtime rolls around (assuming you spend the morning at Future World, by the time you hit the World Showcase you should be in Italy around lunch). According to Disney, this restaurant was created by theh direct descendants of Alfredo di Lelio, the inventor of Fettuccini Alfredo. That's good enough for me, since that is my favorite Italian dish. We've eaten here a couple of times, and that dish doesn't disappoint (they make their pasta fresh). The portions are large, so pace yourself by not eating before you get there. The restaurant is large and has Roman decor, which are fun to look at while waiting for your meal. It's not really an intimate place, as they are trying to feed lots of people. But it's still a good sit-down place and a good place to rest your feet from walking around the park. Tip: Make dining reservations here as soon as you enter the park.
