Location: 9101 International Drive, near the Orange County Convention Center

Our thoughts: Pointe Orlando is an open-air shopping mall with a festive feel to it. It's connected by a bridge to a multi-level parking garage, so you probably won't have to walk too far.

You'll find many of the standard mall stores (B. Dalton Bookseller, Bath & Body Works, Sunglass Hut, Watch Station, Abercrombie & Fitch, Express, Victoria's Secret and Foot Locker) plus some more unusual names (AlX Armani Exchange, Bimini Shoes, Boardwalk Surf & Sport, Denim Place, Image Leather, Everything But Water, Chico's and Soft As A Grape).

Restaurants include Dan Marino's Town Tavern (which was great, see our review), Adobe Gila's, Hooters, Johnny Rockets, Wise Guy’s and LuLu's Bait Shack. After your meal, you can hit the Starbucks or the Swensen's Ice Cream.

Muvico's 21 movie theaters include an IMAX theater, with stadium seating and digital sound in all of the theaters.
