Our thoughts: When you ride a flume ride at a regular amusement park, you get into a log, float around a track for a while and then experience a big drop at the end.

Same thing here, but with Disney you get the added "theme" of having an adventure with Brer Rabbit and other characters from Disney's "Song of the South" movie. During the course of the 10.5-minute ride you go through different scenes with the characters, and hear music from the movie. There are several small drops along the way, leading up to the giant drop at the end.

The drop doesn't disappoint, and depending on where you're sitting and who is also in the log with you, you will get pretty wet.

The ride is located right next to the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad ride, so if you are there on a day that isn't so busy, you can get a lot of fast rides in by switching between the two rides (getting wet on Splash Mountain and then drying off on the Railroad coaster).

And if you're looking to get one of the photos of you during the drop and you want to face the camera, look up and to the left when you're in the middle of the drop (hard to do on your first ride as you usually look down to see how much longer you have to drop).

Tip: Get FastPass on very hot days, otherwise expect a very, very long wait.
