Our thoughts: Never had a chance to try the food here, and as of 2003, Twin Dragons was out of business and its former building vacant.

Here's what was cool about this place: In 2001, we drove by here and I saw a sign that said "TWIN DR GONS." The more perceptive among our group quickly realized that it was really Twin Dragons, minus a blown-out neon A. But being a thicker-skulled observer, I yelled out, "Hey, we could eat at Twin Dr. Gons!"

The Twin Dr. Gons name stuck and became a source of endless fun. There's a roller coaster at Universal Islands of Adventure called Dueling Dragons, but we like to call it Twin Dr. Gons.

Tip: Don't make the same mistake we did. If a place becomes a running joke, eat there before it goes out of business.
