The Mall at Millenia (Orlando)Location: 4200 Conroy Road, Orlando Our thoughts: There are plenty of places to shop in Orlando, but this mall was quite a bit nicer than the rest. It was noticeably more upscale than the Florida Mall, with some impressive architecture and lots of shiny, fancy marble. Millenia hit the trifecta with all three of the stores that every mall should be required to have: a Chick-fil-A, an Apple Store, and (not strictly in the mall, but right across the street) a Krispy Kreme. As for less important stores, this mall's anchored by a Bloomingdale's, a Burdine's-Macy's and Neiman Marcus (a.k.a. Needless Markup). For the smaller stores, the Burdine's-Macy's end of the mall had mostly typical mall shops — including Lenscrafters, Waldenbooks, a full array of Gap stores, Express, EB Games, Bath & Body Works, Yankee Candle and Discovery Channel. The Neiman Marcus/Bloomingdale's end was more boutiquey, including Chanel, Tiffany & Co., Gucci, Hugo Boss, Louis Vuitton, Cole Haan and Burberry. Big restaurants in the mall include The Cheesecake Factory, P.F. Chang's China Bistro, and McCormick & Schmick's Seafood. Tip: The nice folks at Lenscrafters treated us very well, not charging for a nice glasses case even though we didn't buy anything.
