Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville (Orlando)Location: Universal CityWalk Our thoughts: If you've been walking around all day at one of the Universal parks, the first thing you're going to want to do is sit down and have a nice, cold beer. Fortunately, the Margaritaville restaurant is the first one on the right after leaving the Islands of Adventure. In addition to cold drinks, the place has nice chairs to let you rest your feet. If you're a Jimmy Buffett fan, this place will seem like heaven. Plenty of Jimmy memorabilia, including video screens that play Buffett music non-stop. Behind the bar is a "volcano" with some margarita concoction behind it, and on occasion the volcano "erupts" and the liquid flows out of the machine (basically like a fountain, and the bartender told me that they don't actually serve the liquid as a drink). We sat down at the bar and ordered some drinks and the Volcano Nachos, which are nacho chips topped with chili, cheese, quacamole, sour cream, jalapenos, tomatoes and scallions. At $7.95, it was a good bargain meal for three very tired adults. Tip: Hope you like Jimmy Buffett music repeated endlessly. Bring your wallet in case they proof you at the bar.
