Our thoughts: If you're in the Orlando area and want Japanese food, your search can start and end at Kabuki.

This place outshines the competition in several key ways. First, there's a generously endowed salad bar included with all meals. Even better, teppanyaki here includes rice AND noodles. No extra charge for noodles like some other steakhouses! The chefs put on a good show, just as they do at most Japanese steakhouses. Our favorite line here was "Japanese lemon from Publix."

We had the most interesting tablemates here too — some NASCAR fans and even some professional clowns!

The prices were impressively low for the quality and quantity of food. But by far the best thing about Kabuki is that the food was just great. Best of any Japanese steakhouse in the Orlando area, or anywhere else.

Tip: Get some sushi as a side dish!
