You'll take the elevator ride of your life to the 86 Floor Observatory and Gift Shop, and if you want, head further up to the 102nd floor for some tremendous views (depending on weather) and great photos. At $12, it's a rather cheap thrill by Manhattan standards. Head back down to the 86th floor to peruse the world's largest collection of apple and Statue of Liberty-themed crap in the gift shop. Skip the associated New York Skyride attraction. It stinks.Tip: Go on a clear day for the best views and photos.
