Our thoughts: If you're a TV fan, it's hard to pass up the NBC Studio Tour, which takes you to several well-known areas of Rockefeller Center, including the studios of Late Night with Conan O'Brien and Saturday Night Live.

It's interesting to walk the halls of 30 Rock, learning about the history of early TV from an NBC perspective, participate in a green-screen weather forecast, and see in-person the studios you know so well from TV. And, yes, they all look much smaller in real life. The tour's kind of short, and at $17.50 it isn't cheap. Yet it's worth it to say you did it once.

Tip: It's not something you need to do or see every time you're in the city.
