Mulholland Madness
Location: Paradise Pier, Disney's California Adventure
Our thoughts: This freeway-themed junior roller coaster lives in the shadow of California Screamin' but this one is much less elaborate, and aimed probably at younger crowd. It didn't go all that fast, but even for us adults, it had some very sharp turns and a couple of steep drops.
This ride looked pretty lame from a distance as viewed from atop the Sun Wheel, but once we rode it, it was actually fairly fast-paced and challenging.
Tip: Tighten your hat before you get on, or better yet, don't wear one. Mine went flying off on the big drop.
