Our thoughts: The 2-hour Paramount studios tour gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the daily goings-on of a major movie studio. Since most folks haven't been inside a working movie studio, it's pretty cool.
A tour guide will drive you around the giant Paramount lot in a golf cart, showing you famous soundstages, such as those used for the "Star Trek" TV series; the studio's famous New York back lot; and the offices of current superstars like Tom Cruise.
If you're lucky you may even get to see actual sets for shows taped at Paramount (we got to see "Dr. Phil" and "Nip/Tuck"). You'll also learn about the history of the studio and Hollywood, and get the inside scoop on what's currently shooting.
