Our thoughts:

If you want some excellent Mexican food, head over to Taquerita Cañonita, on the banks of The Venetian's Grand Canal. The kitchen combines traditional Mexican with a Southwest flair for a delicious result. It's a nice change of pace from buffets or other traditional vacation fare, and the price isn't too steep. The portions are good and you'll have a great dining experience you don't get everyday (unless you're Mexican or live in the Southwest, we guess).

Tip: Try to get a table overlooking the canal for maximum gondola action. You'll get your gondola experience and save the $30 you would have spent on your own ride.
