Casino Legends Hall of Fame (Las Vegas)Location: Tropicana Hotel Our thoughts: If you're a fan of gambling or Vegas, a trip to the Casino Legends Hall of Fame is worth the $7 admission. The museum, housed in the Tropicana, boasts the largest collection of Vegas memorabilia - from gambling chips to celebrity photos and video clips. Perhaps the creepiest memorabilia are piles of melted chips removed from the 1980 MGM Grand Hotel Fire, which killed 84 and injured nearly 700. What's amazing is the HOF offers memorabilia from a staggering 738 Vegas casinos - 550 of which no longer exist. If you're a long-time Vegas visitor, you'll get to revisit places you've stayed and visited that are long gone.
For $7, it's a bargain and a nice way to enjoy some time out of the sun. Visit Taquitos.net's other travel guides: Boston • Florida Spring Training • Hawaii's Big Island • Los Angeles • New York City • Orlando | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
