Our thoughts: Bubba Gump's food is your standard American chain-restaurant fare, with a seafood bent.

It was good food at a decent price. The portions were large and the service was good. One reason to eat at Bubba Gump's is to enjoy its perch overlooking beautiful Kailua Bay. We lucked out and got a bay-side seat at sunset, making for a great atmosphere.

Tip: Ask to be seated with a good view of Kailua Bay.
