Lagoon Grill (Hawaii's Big Island)

More Hawaii's Big Island Restaurants

Location: Hilton Waikoloa Village, Waikoloa

Our thoughts: The main reason to dine at the Lagoon Grill is to watch the Hilton's resident dolphins splash around the lagoon.

The food is standard grill fare - sandwiches, salads, burgers, etc. The quality is excellent, but prices are on the high side. However, if you compare your lunch tab against what a swim in the lagoon with the dolphins would cost, it's a bargain. You get lunch and you get to see the dolphins. Plus, you don't have to get in a wet suit.

Tip: Keep your camera handy for any nifty dolphin moves and ask to be seated as close as possible to the lagoon.
