Imari (Hawaii's Big Island)

More Hawaii's Big Island Restaurants

Location: Hilton Waikoloa Village, Waikoloa

Our thoughts: If you enjoy Teppanyaki dining as we do, you may be tempted to head over to Imari for a big night out. And by "big" we mean "expensive." Imari offers standard Teppanyaki fare, but with exceptional quality. Order the Teppenyaki shrimp entree and the shrimp are huge and fresh. The Teppanyaki chef was skilled, but not the best we've experienced.

We got a free ride at Imari (thanks to our spell with the timeshare gang), so we truly enjoyed it. If we had to pay for it out of our own pockets, we may have thought twice.

Tip: Order the shrimp Teppanyaki. Try to avoid any gun control discussions with your table-mates.
