Sam & Martin's The Ultimate Popped Potato Chips Sour Cream & Onion
Taste test: It was very hard to get this bag open, but once I did manage to open it, there were some tasty snacks inside.
It's difficult to describe what they were. They were closer to Pringles than they were to potato chips, but then again, they really weren't that much like Pringles. The round, irregularly shaped chips looked kind of like some small rice cakes or soy chips, but only sort of. They tasted kind of like Pringles, but they were thicker and less dense, crisp and light, but crunchy. The sour cream and onion flavor was pretty good, with a very oniony taste.

From the package: “Not fried! Not baked! Cholesterol free!” ... “Sam & Martin's bring experience and tradition from the family business into producing the ultimate snacks. We have removed the 'ho-hum', boring and tasteless stereotype of healthy snacks and replaced them with fun and tantalizing flavor for a wholesome snack alternative.” ... “Sam & Martin's uses a European technique of popping these delicious snacks, instead of frying or baking. Granulated potatoes are pressure cooked, producing the round snack. This unique and healthier process infuses a medley of seasonings and natural flavors right into the chip, so every bite bursts with a mouth-watering experience, only to leave you wanting more!”
