Sam & Martin's The Ultimate Popped Potato Chips Bar-B-Que
Taste test: This bag was very hard to open, a problem we noticed with all of the Sam & Martin's snacks.
It contained round, wiggly, irregularly shaped potato crisp-like snacks with a nice barbecue taste. The taste was sweet and very mildly hot, but there was a surprisingly hot aftertaste that lingered for quite a while and even grew stronger. Some of our tasters who ate several of these chips in succession noted a bad aftertaste, but others raved about the flavor.

Smell test: Nice very mild barbecue smell.
From the package: “Not fried! Not baked! Cholesterol free!” ... “Sam & Martin's bring experience and tradition from the family business into producing the ultimate snacks. We have removed the 'ho-hum', boring and tasteless stereotype of healthy snacks and replaced them with fun and tantalizing flavor for a wholesome snack alternative.” ... “Sam & Martin's uses a European technique of popping these delicious snacks, instead of frying or baking. Granulated potatoes are pressure cooked, producing the round snack. This unique and healthier process infuses a medley of seasonings and natural flavors right into the chip, so every bite bursts with a mouth-watering experience, only to leave you wanting more!”
