Snyder's of Hanover York Peppermint Pretzel Sandwich Dips
Taste test: This pretzel sandwich followed a similar formula to Snyder's Peanut Butter Pretzel Dips, but they used an ingredient that I've never seen associated with pretzels, and in the process, they practically reinvented the pretzel sandwich.
Snyder's put a York peppermint layer between two round pretzels and coated the whole thing with dark chocolate. The taste was similar to a York Peppermint Pattie, but the addition of the pretzels added some crunch while reducing the dominance of the peppermint. If you've ever eaten a York Peppermint Pattie, you must know what those old "Get the sensation!" ads were were talking about. This pretzelized version didn't have that same sensation, as the peppermint intensity was a full degree lower, but that also meant that it was easy to eat a whole bunch of these without getting over-minted. Our tasters loved the results, as people ate them quickly and kept coming back to the bag for more.

Smell test: Smells like a York Peppermint Pattie.
From the package: “Dark Chocolate Covered York Peppermint Pretzels” ... “You will love our newest pretzel sensation. Imagine cool, minty peppermint cream sandwiched between two crispy, bite-sized pretzels, then dipped in smooth dark chocolate.” ... “Serve them alone, or with ice cream to create an elegant dessert.”
