Pretzel Pete Pretzel Pearls Sriracha
Taste test: These smallish, roughly spherical pretzels looked sort of like chickpeas, with generally a pretzel type of color but also some darker areas and lots of sort of light orange-looking seasoning powder.
We crunched in to find mostly a pretzel taste on the first bite, but also some sweetness and mild spices, then quite a bit of very tasty heat after that. The heat stuck around for an intense lingering aftertaste. Many of our tasters were quite familiar with Sriracha sauce and were very eager to try this. People were not disapointed, as they enjoyed the taste and the heat. The Pearls were small enough that it was tempting to eat a whole bunch at once, but doing so did (after a short delay) create a small fire in the mouth!
