Thai Summer Heat Spicy Peanuts
Taste test: This small bag contained roasted peanuts mixed with various sized bits of peppers and others spices. The peanuts were about equally divided between whole nuts and ones that had split in half.
I poured a bunch of nuts and the other assorted stuff into my hand and crunched in to find that the nuts were soft and tasty, flavored with an intense blend of spices that reminded me in most ways of the delicious taste of Tom Yum soup. I say "most ways" because the heat level was quite a bit less than my favorite Thai soup. Tom Yum is ordinarily very hot, and sometimes even extremely hot, but these peanuts were just slightly to moderately hot. They were very tasty, though, a hit among the snackers with whom we shared some.
