Taste test: YummySnack produces a whole line of energy bars like this one that they compare in taste to particular candies — in this case, Reese's — while making the kinds of health claims that you rarely see on candy bars.
I peeled open the wrapper to find a fairly dark color to the chocolate coating, and then bit in to reveal an interior that somewhat resembled the inside of a Reese's, at least in terms of color. The feel was firm but fairly soft and just sightly gritty. The taste was not a close match for a Reese's — there was something peanutty, and there was chocolate, but the taste seemed more like a lot of other energy bars than a Reese's. Not bad, but a bit too much sweetness and some minor grittiness, so much better with a glass of cold milk than without.

Smell test: Kind of like a Reese's, but I could definitely smell the dark chocolate.
