Taste test: This small energy bar had a brownie-like texture on its interior, with a white coating on the outside.
Within the interior, there were a small number of darker spots that appeared to be nearly black, and those pieces seemed to have a crunch to them. The taste was rich and quite good, quite chocolatey without being overly sweet. I enjoyed several of these after running a 5K race at Stanford (they were handing them out for free at the race) and ate even more of them later the same week while hiking at Yosemite National Park.
