Taste test: Those box contained six separately wrapped packs, each containing six round cracker sandwiches with peanut butter filling. Obviously we've eaten peanut butter cracker sandwiches many times before, but the big draw here was the promise that the filling was going to be more than the usual thin filling. The round crackers were also a minor departure from the usual squares.
We opened a pack to find that the fillings didn't look particularly thick. For the first few crackers, I did notice that the peanut butter was creamy, but there wasn't much of it. I checked out the other crackers to notice that the thickness of the PB filling did vary quite a bit from one sandwich to the next — and even within a single sandwich, the thickness varied from one end of the sandwich to the other. When I ate the ones with more filling, the extra PB was noticeable and the taste was better. But even the ones with a little more peanut butter still had relatively little of it, so it was a bit of a disappointment for a product that promised "Xtra Fulls."
