Trader Joe's Charmingly Chewy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Taste test: These smallish oatmeal rasin cookies were soft and moist, and they tasted pretty good, as the taste was the same as most oatmeal raisin cookies, except moister.
The packaging, however, some kind of a disaster. The cardboard box contained a foil bag that contained a plastic tray with the cookies. For some reason, the tray was molded into a shape to hold three rows of six cookies each, with a separation buffer of air between the cookies — a practice often used with chocolate coated cookies. The problem was that it just didn't work as intended, as most of the cookies had slipped out of their rows and were bent. This made it hard to slip the tray out of the bag, and the cookies were misshapen and didn't look great. It didn't affect the taste of the cookies, but it definitely made them look less appealing.

Smell test: Mild sweet oatmeal and raisin smell.
From the package: “Remember the days when you had time to bake cookies from scratch? The whole house seemed to take on the essence of a little cottage tucked away from the hassles of everyday life. A really good cookie has a knack for bringing home some nostalgia for those days.”
