Taste test: We reviewed Double Stuf Oreos (actually a mint version) in the past and were disappointed to find that there wasn't really double the creme of regular Oreos, so when we discovered this Mega Stuff version, it seem like a chance for Oreo to stand up and deliver. We were not expecting to take "Mega" literally here — meaning 1 million times as much creme — but we did expect to find noticeably more creme than regular Oreos and Double Stuf Oreos. We peeled open the top of the package to find just that. The filling thickness varied, but on average, there was probably four times as much as regular Oreos. The cookies looked kind of messy, with inconsistent fillings and creme spilling out in various places.
We crunched in to find that the filling also seemed creamier and less congealed than regular Oreos. The extra moisture in the filling didn't soften the cookies, as they seemed to be the same Oreo cookies, plenty dry and crunchy. Our snackers were quite thrilled to hear that these existed and equally thrilled to eat them. Oreos delivered as promised here, very nice!
