Taste test: This latest addition to the Oreo Thins line (along with founding members original, Mint and Golden, and newcomer chocolate filled) had round sandwiches looked like Oreos, except with thinner cookies, so Thins was a very fitting name.
For this Lemon version, the filling was yellow, but not in a bright way, so when contrasted against the Golden Oreo cookies, it was hardly noticeable and really didn't scream "lemon" to me. When we shared these around among several snackers, people generally liked them, but the shared observation was that although there was some measurable amount of lemon flavor, that's all that there was. Not a lot.
If you're looking for a bit more lemon flavor, try the (non-Thins) Lemon Oreo, and if you're looking for a lemon-flavored Oreo that just tastes terrible, try the chocolate cookie-equipped Lemon Twist.
