Taste test: These cookies looked just like the original Oreo Thins, as the coconut filling that replaced the regular Oreo filling looked just as white.
We bit in to find the same light crunch from the two extra-thin Oreo cookies enclosing the sandwich, with a reasonable level of coconut flavor that worked well with the chocolate. It seems that the Oreo folks have figured out a way to make coconut cookies without using coconut, as the Ingredients indicated that there was none of it, but that didn't prevent even some coconut-loving snackers from giving a thumbs-up to the flavor.
