Taste test: This new limited-edition Oreos package included some changes that are typical of limited editions — a flavored filling and special cookie designs — along with one new innovation we haven't seen from Oreo before: stickers!

Each sandwich had a pink filling in between two chocolate cookies, with one cookie face showing the standard Oreo markings and the other varying among four Oreo-themed Valentine's messages: Dunk in Love, Let's Twist, Dear Cupid Send Oreo and XOXO Oreo.

I crunched in to find that the filling had kind of an indistinct fruity taste, remotely like cherry, not all that compatible with chocolate. Definitely a new taste for Oreos, not my favorite, but OK.

As for the stickers, the back of the package had three of them embedded inside, two of which used the slogans already on the cookies (Let's Twist and Dear Cupid, Send Oreo) and the other with a whole new slogan: Love at First Bite.

Smell test: A sweet kind of fruity smell, maybe remotely like cherries, but not really.

From the package: “Limited Edition” ... “sweet and tangy flavor creme artificially flavored” ... “See back for stickers!” ... “4 fun cookie designs” ... “Let's stick together! Oreo stickers adhere best to smooth, flat surfaces like notebooks & laptops. Sweet!”
