Taste test: These cookies were a lot like the Hostess Fudge Striped Shortbread Cookies, as they were round shortbread cookies with elaborate designs, fully coated on the bottom and thinly striped on the top with a fairly solid coating of caramel instead of fudge in this case.
They were nicely crunchy and pretty good, with a lot of caramel taste. They were also fairly filling, as we didn't need to eat all that many cookies to be satisfied, yet they were good enough that we usually ended up returning to the package and eating a few more cookies than planned.
