Wilde Thin & Crispy Chicken Chips Jalapeño

Taste test: These chips were made from an unusual material, boating chicken meat as their first ingredient, and they were cut into midsize circles with a consistent super-wide wavy shape, nearly an inch from peak to peak. The surfaces were dark beige in color, with some small dark spots throughout, presumably from the jalapeño flavoring. (We've reviewed some other snacks made primarily from chicken, including three from Meat Chips and Meridian Thai Chicken Chips.)

We crunched in to find a crispy feel as promised, with a taste that was also just what they said — it really tasted like chicken, with some spices in there too. The jalapeño heat wasn't immediately evident, but there was a middling kick of it in the aftertaste. Quite nice. We shared these around among folks enjoying some beers at a festival, and people were eager to try them, and then they were fast to praise the taste.
