Taste test: These samosas were sort of on the large end of being appetizer-sized, and an inspection of the ingredients revealed them to be vegetarian.
They were a bit tough to bite into, as the pastry shell didn't have the softness of a freshly baked samosa. After breaking through the exterior, we found that the filling was basically a spicy Indian snack mix, plus some raisins. Between the toughness of the exterior and the loose nature of the interior, these were a bit messy to deal with, but they were quite tasty too, with a whole lot of different spices and a good kick of heat, especially in the aftertaste. They had some fans and a few detractors among our tasters.
