Urban Tribe Zing Puffs Wasabi Soy
Taste test: After being quite disappointed by the bad taste of the Parmesan Caramelized Onion and Salty Caramel flavors from Urban Tribe, we figured this one had to be better, as there wasn't much room to be worse, and it's hard to go wrong with a wasabi snack.
We were wrong. Snacks can have different levels of wasabi intensity and mix it with different spices, but regardless of how it's done, it's a distinctive taste with a sensation all its own. But none of our tasters detected any wasabi at all in these light, nugget-shaped rice-based puffs. No wasabi heat, no wasabi zing, no wasabi taste. The result was a flavorless, gritty puff.

Smell test: Smells like maple syrup.
From the package: “What are Zing Puffs, you ask? They're a tasty new snack — derived from the careful blending of Zing (the imagingary sound your mouth makes when it bites into something flavorful) — and Puffs (that which is known for being delicate and light). Bring them together (like we do) and you have a deliciously satisfying snack unlike any you've ever tasted. All-natural Zing Puffs are bite-size pillows of wholesome brown rice, baked to a light, crispy crunch and infused with bold flavor combinations that'll make your mouth ... well ... Zing!”
