Taste test: This bag contained snacks that looked kind of like the popular Snapea Crisps, with a similar shape but a different color. But as for color, they didn't look like the ones shown on the front of the bag, with their greenish tint, as the actual ones were a neutral gray, with various white, gray and black spots throughout.
There's a similar snack made with pea flour called Inner Peas.
I crunched in to find a light crunch and middling crispness, with a fairly dense feel. The taste was just slightly salty and not particularly strong, but there was a mild bean-like flavor in the aftertaste. When I shared these around with some snackers, there were no complaints, and a few people went out of their way to say that the taste was incredibly delicious.
Whatever material it was that these were made of, the stuff really stuck to my teeth quite a lot.
