Sun Chips Sweet Potato & Brown Sugar
Taste test: These chips, which added brown sugar to the previous sweet potato version of Sun Chips, looked pretty much like normal Sun Chips, with square shapes, wide ripples and a beige color.
I crunched in to find a crunch that was similar to the other sweet potato version, a little less brittle than typical Sun Chips. The taste was quite unlike actual sweet potato chips, with a hint of sweet potato at best. (These were multi-grain chips, with sweet potato listed after corn, wheat and rice on the ingredients.) There was some added sweetness versus the brown sugar-less version, but not a lot. A pretty good taste, but all in all, I prefer the original types of Sun Chips.

Smell test: Nice sweet potato and cinnamon smell, really good without being too sweet.
From the package: “Heart Healthy” ... “Diets rich in whole grain foods and other plant foods, and low in saturated fat and cholesterol, may help reduce the risk of heart disease.” ... “One-of-a-kind chips that take snacking from ho hum to oh yeah! Wavy unique shape with a combination of whole grains and mouthwatering flavors. Delicious sweet potato sprinkled with touches of salt & brown sugar create the perfect, tasty combination.”
