Sun Chips Sweet Potato
Taste test: This version of Sun Chips looked much like the other kinds, with a similar color, square shapes and wide ripples, but they promised a very different flavor from sweet potato. We checked the ingredients to find that they did indeed contain sweet potato, but less of it than corn, wheat, rice and even sugar. (Only Sea Salt and Calcium Chloride were listed lower on the ingredients!)
We crunched in to find a slightly crispier, less brittle crunch than standard Sun Chips, with a taste that was a far cry from an actual sweet potato chip, but still did offer a strong hint of sweet potato. Pretty good.
