Taste test: Smartfood has long been known as a brand of white cheddar popcorn, but Frito-Lay lately has expanded its use of the name to other kinds of popcorn (fake kettle and butter), and now they've gone even further in using it for products that aren't popcorn at all, including this like Puffcorn and some other ones similar to Popchips.
This kind was shaped like Chester's Puffcorn (corn puffs shaped kind of like popcorn, but not quite) except maybe smaller, with a pale yellow color and lots of bits of green. I'll pat myself on the back here and say that buying it was a good decision, because it turned out to be really good. The puffs were crisp, soft, light and very flavorful, with a generous amount of tasty sour cream and onion flavor. A winner.
