Salveo Tortilla Chips Nacho Cheese Multigrain
Taste test: It took just one look inside this bag to see that these nacho cheese tortilla chips were not just a clone of Doritos. The first two differences that jumped out were that these chips were larger and had a nearly-quarter-circle shape (versus triangular Doritos) and the many large dark seeds embedded into their surfaces. Those differences aside, the surfaces did kind of resemble Doritos.
I crunched in to find that the chips were quite good. Despite the inclusion of all sorts of extra grains beyond corn (and those highly visible seeds) the taste was a lot like Doritos, and although the crunch was slightly stiffer than Doritos, it was still a very good texture. The nacho cheese seemed to have a bit more kick than the standard Doritos cheese for an intense spicy cheese flavor. Excellent.
