Regenie's Organic Pita Ritas Simply Wheat
Taste test: These rectangular chips weren't really all that much like pita chips, as they were light and had multi-layered sort of feel to them, without much crunch and without a whole lot of taste.
The texture was sort of paper-like, and some of our tasters said the same thing about the flavor. A wheat-like flavor can be good if done right and combined with the right amount of salt and other spices (think Wheat Thins or Wheatables) but in this case it just didn't do much for me.

Smell test: Kindof a fried dough-like smell, also reminded me of a Chinese restaurant.
From the package: “Lite & Crispy Pita Chips” ... “Pita-ri-fic™ snacks go great with dips, salads, salsa and spreads ... or alone as a great tasting snack.” ... “As the original creator of the Certified Organic Pita Chip, Regina's goal is to dazzle America with different ideas, textures and tastes.” ... “Disclaimer: The word 'Lite' does not claim this product is 'Low' in or a good source of nutrient.”
