Taste test: These puff-like snacks were made primarily from peas, promising to taste like zesty queso by combining cheddar and salsa flavors. They came in two different colors, one a very yellowish orange and the other a somewhat bright orange, corresponding to cheddar and salsa flavors. Shapewise, they were odd, with random weird shapes that didn't remind me of any previous snack. Because of the random shapes, they looked kind of like croutons. The bag was less than half full.
I crunched in to find a crunch that was similar to corn-based cheese balls, but denser, still a nice texture. I could notice the taste of the peas a bit, and that wasn't bad. However, the salsa and cheddar were far less strong that would have seemed reasonable — I didn't notice much salsa flavor from the yellowish ones, nor a whole lot of salsa from the orangeish ones, and definitely not something I described as Zesty Queso from eating both. The overall flavor wasn't bad, but it just didn't do a great job of tasting like what they said it would. Decent.

Smell test: I guess I can smell both cheddar and salsa, but somehow it wasn't all that appetizing.
From the package: “2 flavors: Salsa, Yellow Cheddar” ... “Flavored baked vegetable snack” ... “Popper Duos is honestly made from veggies — green peas and red lentils. Each bag has two fun flavors. There crazy good on their own and unbelievably delicious when you pop 'em together”
