PopCrinkles Sweet BBQ
Taste test: These potato crisps were oval-shaped and somewhat wiggly, but as for the promised crinkles or ripples, they were much less evident in the actual crisps than they were in the picture on the bag (where the ripples were quite subtle to begin with). The surfaces had a light beige color, with varying amounts of orange seasoning, a brighter orange than shown in the picture.
I crunched in to find a good crispness and mid-level crunch, similar to PopChips but not quite that good. There was a mildly sweet flavor that wasn't sugary (that's good) but really wasn't tangy at all either (bad for a BBQ chip) so it kind of missed the BBQ boat. Not a bad underlying potato flavor, but just not a seasoning that really resonated.

Smell test: Kind of an odd sweet barbecue smell at first, but not too bad.
From the package: “Simply the better choice™” ... “60% less fat than the leading potato chip!” ... “Hey, Cyrus Crinkle here. I am the PopCorners pop-perfectionist … the one who's had it with greasy fried snacks that leave you feeling like YOU were deep fried … inside and out. That's why I invented PopCrinkles™ — a popped chip with the delicious hearty potato taste and texture we love and none of the greasy calories we can all do without.”
