Taste test: We found these hexagonal crisps, which promised a cheese flavor, several months after reviewing the Nacho Pizza version. Seeing a simple cheese-flavored chip didn't much register as anything special to us, which was quite the opposite of how we reacted to seeing the Nacho Pizza bag. Nacho Pizza is, well, Nacho Pizza, what more do we have to say? But then again, the Nacho Pizza ones didn't actually taste like nachos, pizza or nacho pizza; they just tasted like cheese. As for the Cheese one, sure, the name with just Cheese didn't sound as exciting as Nacho Pizza, but the bag provided plenty of hype and maybe a bit of unintended hyperbole (see "From the Package").
The chips had the same irregular hexagonal shapes as the pizza ones, with wiggly surfaces. We crunched in to find the chips tasted pretty good, with a flavor similar to cheese-flavored Pringles, really not much different from the Nacho Pizza ones. The texture was nice as well, a lot like Pringles, but a bit crunchier and slightly thicker-cut, while still being nicely crisp.
The small bag contained a huge number of chips. Each one was fairly small, but there were just so many of them in the bag! Quite a lot of chips for a 3-oz. bag.

Smell test: Fairly typical Asian potato crisp smell, with some cheese too.

So revolutionary, it can change the way snacks are enjoyed. When you taste its rich flavor and feel its unique, thin texture, you'll know why there's no other snack like Piattos ”
